Week #4

Assignment #1
When designing a lesson plan using the Backwards Design, the steps are reversed. Firstly, I think about my goal; what the main lesson of this class is, and what I wish for my students to walk away with from this lesson. Based on that, I come up with the essential questions that will aid the students in understanding the point of the lesson. When answering the questions, will that help the students in furthering their understanding of the theme? If the answer is yes, that proves my questions to be on the right track. I do research, and determine that the knowledge and skills my students will acquire as a result of this lesson are that which I had in mind, and can aid them in their future studies, work, and lives in general.
